According to Al-Bayan newspaper (April 6, 2005), sources reported that a public tender for constructing a building for the Sharjah Islamic Bank will be publicized soon.
The building construction operations are expected to be accomplished in two years whereby the necessary building designs and plans were already prepared. The new building consists of 30 floors, of which the bank will occupy 10 floors and the rest will be available for rent as offices. The new building is located in the Al-Mamzar area of Sharjah, which is known as a strategic business and commerce zone.
