A new cargo center was inaugurated at the Ras Al-Khaimah International Airport this week. The facility, set up jointly with Emirates Cargo, is hoped to attract global freight business to the airport.
Inaugurated in 1976, Ras Al Khaimah International Airport’s average volume of cargo handled per annum is 36 million kilograms. It is one of six international airports operating throughout the United Arab Emirates (UAE), in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Fujairah, Sharjah and Ras Al-Khaimah. — (menareport.com)
