New chief executive to manage Yemen’s Investment Authority

Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Al-Saleh recently appointed Abdul-Aziz Nasser Al-Kamim as the new Chief Executive of the Public Investment Authority, reports Al-Hayat daily.  

 

Al-Kamim was born in Sanaa in 1954, and received a bachelor’s degree in foreign trade from Helwan University of Cairo, in 1978.  

 

He will replace the former chief executive, Abdul-Rahman Ali Othman, who was transferred to the Yemeni ministry of Commerce and Industry.  

 

Yemen’s Public Investment Authority is responsible for issuing licenses for investment projects in Yemen, processing documents required by investors to establish and operate investment projects, and providing information required for projects by investors in various fields. –(MENA Report)
