Six Continents Hotels has appointed Philippe Lamadieu as the new food and beverage manager of the Crowne Plaza Muscat. Lamadieu, a French national, has worked with Inter-Continental and Holiday Inn hotels in Tunisia where he was recently part of the pre-opening and opening team for both the Inter-Continental Resort and the Holiday Inn Resort in Hammamet.
The 208-room Crowne Plaza Muscat is situated only 20 minutes drive from Seeb International Airport, overlooking the Gulf of Oman. In the Middle East region, Crowne Plaza Hotels and Resorts also operates properties in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Jeddah, Kuwait, Petra, Sharm Al-Sheikh, Beirut and Casablanca.
