Oussama Massoud has been appointed by InterContinental Hotels Group, the world’s most global hotel company, as general manager of the Crowne Plaza Amman. Jordanian Massoud looks forward to bringing to the new role a complete and long-term understanding of the country’s hospitality market.

The married father of two, who initially joined the group in 1977 as a front office cashier, will be charged with developing business at the recently revamped Crowne Plaza Amman. The multi-lingual general manager – who is fluent in Arabic, English and French, and capable in German – looks forward to the new challenge.

“As a self motivated manager I strongly believe in teamwork and in my new role I will be adopting an open door policy. Because I always demand high quality products and services and with the added advantage of being proactive in difficult business situations, I have always exceeded my financial targets as general manager. I want to continue to achieve these goals in this new role,” said Massoud.
