PACC Electronic Engineering & Emerging Technologies announced Thursday the signing of a joint venture agreement whereby a new company will be formed and named SPEAKATEL. The new company will focus on the delivery of Arabic and multilingual speech recognition solutions and services to the local and international markets with initial launch from offices in Dubai, UAE and Cairo, Egypt as well as Kuwait city, Kuwait.
“With over 30 years in developing and growing businesses in the technology sector, speech recognition was just the icing on the cake” said Mr. Ahmed Khalil, Chairman of Univest Group. He then added “Emerging Technologies is the right launching pad and foundation for the success of SPEAKATEL.”
“With Emerging Technologies our vision was to create a world class company with international outlook from Abu Dhabi, UAE that will innovate and deliver the latest in Arabic and multilingual speech solutions” said Mr. Saeed Al-Romaithi, Chairman of Emerging Technologies. He then added “With PACC Electronic Engineering our vision will be achieved through SPEAKATEL”.
