Supermarket chain Spinneys has opened its doors at Al-Ghurair City. Virgin Cosmetics, La Senza Lingerie, La Senza Girl and Tally Weijl are amongst the latest international names that are making their United Arab Emirates (UAE) debut when they open under the Liwa Trading umbrella at Al-Ghurair City in January.
The entry of Liwa Trading into Al-Ghurair City marks the latest coup for the Middle East's longest established shopping complex and is further testimony to the success of its $120 million refurbishment and expansion program.
Recent footfall figures showed a 28 percent increase in the number of shoppers that are taking advantage of the range of high street brand names that have opened their doors in Al-Ghurair in the past six months, a growth that Marketing Manager Fadi Kachkouche says is only in its infancy. — (menareport.com)
