Plestinian central bureau of statistics (PCBS) issued on Wednesday the sixth volume of the Jerusalem statistical yearbook.
According to the report, labor force participation rate in Jerusalem governorate was 38.4% in 2003; 68.0% for males and 8.8% for females. Unemployment rate in Jerusalem Governorate for persons aged 15 years and over amounted to 22.3%.
In addition, the report indicated that the total number of establishments in Jerusalem Governorate reached 4,869 in 2003, where as a year before it was 5,053.
The total number of hotels in Jerusalem Governorate for 2003 was 20 hotels with 907 rooms and 2,147 beds. The room occupancy rate was 20.7% and the bed occupancy rate was 12.2%. (menareport.com)
