A plan to boost the Central Municipal Council's income in Bahrain by leasing out more of its land is now being reviewed by councillors. According to GDN, it currently has control over 114 separate pieces of land, but only 28 have been designated for investment.
According to the report, a committee has recently been formed to obtain information from the Central Municipality on the location of its lands and their classification.
