The Indonesian government plans to construct a “House of Indonesia” in Dubai to promote its countries exports to the UAE, Ibrahim Jusuf, Indonesia’s ambassador to the UAE told Asia Pulse.
Jusuf explained that the House of Indonesia would serve as a place to display Indonesian products, as well as site where contact between members of the business communities of the two countries can take place. The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be assisting in the project by providing facilities such as warehouses.
Jusuf said Indonesian exports to the UAE currently equal about $1 billion a year. – (Albawaba-MEBG)
