A new hotel in Abu Dhabi earlier this week awarded Bond Communications a 100 million dirham plus ($27 million) contract to install what the Emirati firm billed as the world’s biggest and most advanced hotel multimedia system.
All 390 rooms at the seafront Emirates Palace, expected to open at the end of the year, will boast “tomorrow’s world... fingertip control of everything from interactive TVs and in room entertainment, to lighting, air conditioning, personal computers, internet access and room service orders,” according to a Bond statement.
Bond made the announcement at The Hotel Show, where 310 hotel suppliers from 33 countries have gathered in Dubai seeking to capitalize on major growth in the Middle East’s hospitality industry. (menareport.com)
