Qanat Al Qasba, the leisure, entrainment and cultural destination of Sharjah, is set out for a new look. Beginning the second week of August, a series of landscape modifications has been launched to give the destination a new look, while holding fast to its original Arabian values.
The landscaping project, which will be completed by the end of this year, will start with adding touches and designs to the bridge that connects the North and South wings of the buildings, which is aimed to be completed just before the beginning of Ramadan next month, WAM reported.
The landscape will be implemented on a schedule of 'zoning' whereby only the scheduled zone will be affected, with access to the rest of the areas for visitors. The mosque area within the premises will also be improved with Islamic designs keeping in style with the rest of the structures, and special seating areas for worshippers to relax in.
