More than fifty members of the Saudi media assembled at a gala dinner hosted by Alhamrani United Company and Nissan Middle East in Jeddah.
Jeddah was the fourth stop for Nissan’s ‘Meet-the-press’ regional road show which started in Dubai followed by Beirut and Amman, and shall continue to Kuwait, Cairo, Morocco and other GCC capitals.
Senior executives from Nissan and Alhamrani United Company, Nissan’s dealer in Jeddah, welcomed the invitees and briefed them on Nissan’s plans for the region. Sheikh Ahmad Al Hamrani also announced the company’s intention on supporting The Saudization initiative launched by the government.
“We are pleased to meet you all today to share with you our plans and commitment to expand Nissan’s presence in our market. Our meeting today takes our relationship further and establishes common grounds between us based on which our communication and relationship will be much easier”, said Sheikh Ahmad.
“Among out first commitments to be realized here is the application of the Saudization program in every possible way. We are part of this country and we can only accept a fruitful and healthy relationship of give and take”, he added.
