The Oberoi group may build a five-star development in Bahrain, despite a failed previous attempt. According to Bahrain Tribune, a representative of the Indian company has revealed that negotiations with developers about the project are at an early stage.
In 1999 the exclusive chain announced that it had signed an agreement to construct a deluxe hotel and resort on the man-made Lulu Island off the shore of Manama. However, seven years after there is no Oberoi development in Bahrain.
