Oman has tightened tourism visa entry rules for women of certain nationalities, Royal Oman Police has confirmed.
In a tweet posted on the police force’s official Twitter account on Saturday, it said additional controls had been put in place.

The news follows reports earlier this year that female expats in the country were having trouble obtaining work visas.
The country also recent implemented restrictions on granting visas to Bangladeshis to reduce the number of workers in the country, according to reports.
