Oman Flour Mills records profit increase in 1Q 2003/2004

The Oman Flour Mills Company recorded 302,000 Omani rials ($784,446) in net profits for the first quarter of 2003/2004, ending September 30, compared to OR 266,000 during the same period last year.  

 

Revenues increased by 12.4 percent to OR 6.5 million and gross profit margin decreased to 6.9 percent from 9.1 percent in 2002.  

 

Oman Flour Mills was established in 1977 as a joint stock company and began operations as a manufacturer of Animal Feed Mill. The company now markets flour products under the brand name of Dahabi and feed products under the brand name of Barakat. — (menareport.com)
