Oman National Electronics (ONE) and Panatech Engineering have now unified their respective businesses to form one company that will be known as Al-Futtaim Panatech, stated a press release.
The reason behind the consolidation is in direct response to the changing needs of the electronics market and customers. The industry has become more focused on meeting industry demands, therefore the need for consolidation and a more streamlined approach to the electronics business.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE)’ Al-Futtaim Group's electronic division consists of global brands in consumer electronics, household appliances, telecom, IT, air-conditioning, systems integration and software solutions. It retails through its expanding Plug-Ins ElectroniX branded outlets. The Electronics division also participates in projects throughout the UAE and is also a major player in the security, elevators, building products and scaffolding product areas. — (menareport.com)
