Majan Gulf Properties (MGP), an Omani real estate company, tied up with International Gulf Development and Contracting Company (IGDC) to establish “Sohar residential and commercial projects” valued RO66 million in the wilayat of Sohar.
According to ONA, the signing ceremony was held Sunday at Shanghri La Barr Al-Jissah under the patronage of Dr. Rajha bint Abdul-Ameer bin Ali, Oman's Minister of Tourism in the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah al-Harthy, Minister of Transport and Communications and public and private sector officials.
The project includes the “Al-Bustan” furnished deluxe apartment complex at a cost of RO16 million and the “Residential villa compounds”.
Mohammed bin Sulaiman al-Marzouqi, chief executive officer, MGP said the projects to be established include six complexes that comprise 570 villa. MGP has joined their efforts with different consultancy firms and contracting partners for the creation of the current and the future projects in Sohar as well as their upcoming projects in the wilayat of Khasab. Additionally, MGP has also developed their own property management department to entertain the projects and to ensure continuous satisfaction of the clients.
MGP has on the anvil a number of other projects including RO10 million “The Pearl”, on the beach of Sohar, a sea resort located in Mejis in Sohar, the 134,000 m2 Majan Logistic City facing the reputed Sohar industrial zone, some elements of the project being a commercial and headquarters bay, a light industry bay, labor camps and catering facilities, ext, and the Khasab family resort at the Musandam peninsula. Work in the projects will commence on forthcoming September and take 2-3 years to complete.
Al-Marzouqi further added that the company aims to cater to the demands of customers seeking high quality living standards and commercial facilities, “In this regard, MGP aims to self-finance most of its projects, especially the Sohar residential and commercial project, and provide out customers with optimized value investment”.
