Sultan Qaboos bin Said has issued his Royal directives to construct 1,197 housing units, build 390 kilometer long roads, light 236 kilometer long roads and establish a school, three health centres, a fishing harbor and a desalination plant. The RO. 95 million projects will be implemented in Dhofar Governorate, the Wusta, the Dakhiliyah and the Sharqiyah regions. According to ONA, the sources added that the Omani leader has also issued his orders to enable 65 families who are beneficiaries of social houses in the Sultanate’s various regions to own these houses and to exempt them from the due charges.
