Al Bawaba, the Middle East focused website today announced the launch of their new web based media player which is the first of its kind in the region and possibly the world. The player is loaded with a huge web based library of Arabic and English language songs and videos to satisfy the taste of millions of users.
Poised to be the first fully online based player with perks to satisfy music enthusiasts, the player is very easy to use and does not require any additional hardware or software. All a person has to do is log on to http://music.albawaba.com/ click on the song or video to automatically launch the player and start streaming the music directly from the internet eliminating the need to store the files on their computer.

In simple words, the streaming will not be interrupted by several reloads of the player. Users will be also happy to learn that they can share the fun by sending direct links of music to their friends using the player.
The player is a flash based web application that behaves like a desktop application employing no less than four technologies, JavaScript, XML, PHP and ActionScript. Key features include the ability to store up to an amazing 100 play lists online containing up to 35 songs each.
