Oriflame Cosmetics records 25 percent sales growth

Swedish cosmetic company Oriflame’s Turkish branch recorded a 25 percent sales growth over the course of 2001, confirming that the female population continues to purchase beauty products despite the economic crisis burdening the nation, reported Milliyet

 

Turkey has been struggling with severe economic problems since February 2001 when a banking sector crisis forced the government to put a halt on the pegged exchange rate regime, interrupting a disinflation program backed by the International Monetary Fund (IMF). — (menareport.com)
