“The PCFC stand at the UAE Career Fair will present all available job vacancies in various departments of the Corporation. For example, Dubai Ports has opportunities for locals to join as maritime trainees and maritime pilots. We also hire graduates in mechanical, electrical and electricity engineering to make them a part of the maintenance teams for cranes and cooling containers. We also require graduates for our sales and marketing departments,” added Lootah.
“The Jebel Ali Free Zone has lot of opportunities for nationals who have basic managerial skills and have graduate degrees in engineering and environmental sciences to work in our sales, marketing and civil engineering departments. We give employees the required support and assistance to help them achieve their career goals,” remarked Lootah.
The surge in exports and imports in Dubai has also created a number of vacancies for UAE nationals in Dubai Customs and PCFC is committed to develop the skills of the employees in this department.
“PCFC is also actively involved in employing fresh graduates who have the required skills to handle job responsibilities. There are a number of universities and institutions in the UAE providing high quality training and education to nationals. We expect job seekers to make full use of the PCFC stand at the career fair by interacting with our staff and seeking advice on how to apply for jobs at PCFC. Also, there are many projects that will be launched in PCFC in the coming months, which will require the services of UAE nationals,” concluded Lootah.
