Permission to grant building licences on some of the less green areas within the Manama Municipality, will be on top of the agenda of the Municipal Council meeting with the new Minister of Municipalities and Agriculture Affairs, reported Bahrain Tribune.
Secretary of the council, Jassim Redha, was quoted as saying that the focus of their meeting with the new Minister of Municipalities, Ali Saleh Al Saleh, will be most of the pending cases.
“We need new maps which show exactly, the areas where building construction is possible. A lot of these lands are owned by people, who are complaining to the council,” said Redha.
