Pirelli's P Zero Nero l tire is now available in the Middle East. Following its launch in Johannesburg, South Africa, earlier this year, the tire was launched in Dubai on December 18.

Today, most medium and high range models on the market offer a number of alternatives to their basic tire fitment like larger diameter rims, wider tires, lower sidewalls, offering not only performance benefits but also aesthetic improvements.

The P Zero Nero tread is rigid and has an asymmetric pattern, with longitudinal channels for water ejection that are optimized in both positions and dimensions. The central strip constitutes continuous semi-slick elements to increase rigidity and improve precision in changes of direction and avoiding wheel slip under acceleration.

The continuity of the tread rings imposes constant contact with the road's surface and optimum conditions for braking performance on wet and dry: the tire’s quick reaction means ABS works more efficiently, especially at the beginning of the braking maneuver. The external shoulder has ample, continuous and compact blocks with an asymmetric distribution of sea and land for maximum grip under extreme lateral stress. — (menareport.com)
