The Bahraini Prime Minister, Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, on Monday was briefed on the construction of the BD40 million Bahrain Performance Hall, part of the Financial Centre, within the Bahrain Financial Harbour, and which also includes the Dual Towers, the Financial Mall, and the Harbour House.
According to Bahrain Tribune, the 25,800 sq. metres hall will feature two halls for 1,600 and 800 spectators, restaurants and retail shops. It will also have a media centre with offices and studios.
The hall, scheduled to be ready in 2008, will host ceremonies, conferences, cultural and religious meetings and high-quality shows.
