The New York-headquartered Polar Air Cargo has named Swiss WorldCargo as its sales agent (ASA) for the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This appointment continues Polar's ongoing efforts to establish sales representation and strengthen its presence in key markets, according to a company y press release.
Swiss WorldCargo, a division of Swiss International Airlines Ltd., already serves as Polar's general sales agent (GSA) in India. Polar Air Cargo currently serves Dubai with service to and from Europe and India, and onward service to the United States and Asia.
"This step represents an expansion of an already successful cooperation together in India, and we look forward to continuing this productive partnership," said Hendrik Falk, vice president Sales for Europe, Middle East, Africa and India.
Polar Air Cargo Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings Inc. Polar operates a fleet of Boeing 747 freighters on a service network connecting Asia, Europe, Australia and the Americas. – (menareport.com)
