Effective September 7, Polar will commence same-plane service from Liege, Belgium to Dubai and points in India. The 747 freighter service will be offered twice weekly from Liege and will route to Dubai, Bombay, Madras and return via Dubai to Liege.
Polar's trans-Atlantic services from the United States to Liege will also connect to those markets. "This new service from Liege will give freight forwarders an excellent alternative to transport shipments to the Middle East and India," said Peter Burn, vice president sales for the Americas. "We're pleased to be offering new service to what has been an underserved market in terms of direct freighter capacity."
