‘Abu-Ghazaleh’ and Bahrain’s Ministry of Labor and Social Development Sign Cooperation Agreement

Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Training-Bahrain (TAG-Training-Bahrain), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Labor and Social Development (MLSD) in Bahrain, in the presence of Bahraini Minister of Labor and Social Development, HE Mr. Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan.

According to the MoU the two parties will cooperate in offering free training courses with the aim of developing and building capacities of youth registered at the Ministry as job seekers; by utilizing modern distance training technologies that qualify them and help them find job opportunities in the labor market.

TAG-Training-Bahrain Executive Director, Mr. Ala Said, stated that the MoU comes as a part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) led by HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of TAG.Global, for the service of the communities and youth capacity development in countries where TAG.Global’s 110+ offices are located around the world, particularly in the Arab region.

He pointed out that cooperation would be implemented by holding and organizing workshops and specialized training courses for job seekers in various fields such as the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS Expert) and training courses for Finance and Accounting certificate holders.

He further said that the workshop would assist job seekers in acquiring the necessary knowledge that meet the requirement of labor market, pointing out that the IFRS Expert workshop will be re-conducted digitally with the participation of 400 job seekers in a direct and interactive approach, to be delivered by specialized experts in the field.  

 The MoU provides for holding training workshops in the fields of computer and Outlook Email Management with a special focus on the underprivileged segment of society in terms of education Mr. Said said, indicating that the course comes at a time as technology has become an essential part of every aspect of our life especially in management and business.
