The iconic falcon trophy of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship toured around Yas Island, one of the world’s leading leisure and entertainment hubs, ahead of the prestigious Rolex Series tournament at Yas Links Abu Dhabi, that marks the European Tour’s first Rolex Series event of 2022 and its debut at Yas Island’s Kyle Phillips-designed golf course.

First staged in 2006 and held at the iconic Abu Dhabi Golf Club for 16 consecutive years, the move to Yas Island’s Yas Links Abu Dhabi adds to the destination’s growing portfolio of global sporting events, including the FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX and Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Signifying the European Tour’s arrival to Yas Island, the trophy visited iconic destinations, including Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi, Warner Bros. World™ Abu Dhabi, and Yas Beach, before making its way to Yas Links Abu Dhabi.
