In Professor Chris Pitelis, we have found just such a leader.

“He has completed a successful tenure as head of industry partnerships at the Cambridge Judge Business School in the University of Cambridge, and as professor of leading business schools at the University of Bath and in the UK, Europe and Australia, President of Hellenic Organization of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises, a nation-wide organization supporting small and medium sized enterprises, and as Head of Business School at Brunel University London.

Dr Ahmad added: “With impeccable credentials to head our ambitious College of Business, we are confident that under his leadership, Abu Dhabi University will continue to enhance our contribution to realizing the UAE’s vision for progress, now and in the future.”

The College’s programs are kept industry relevant and future proof.

ADU’s College of Business is accredited by the prestigious Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the global accrediting body for business schools offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs, as well as the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS). Less than one percent of business schools across the world boast this dual accreditation.

For his part, Professor Pitelis said: “Having worked at some of the world’s top business schools, I’m impressed both by the achievements and the potential of ADU’s College of Business. I will work closely with our faculty members, students, and relevant stakeholders to ensure the sustained advancement of the college. This is crucial to the development and growth of our students and their future careers, and will enable the College to support industry and public policy to foster sustainable international competitiveness and national prosperity.”
