Abu-Ghazaleh Chairs 10th Bosphorus Summit Amid Expectations of the Rise of ‘New World Order in 2020’

HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, in his capacity as the Honorary President, chaired the 10th Bosphour Summit, held in Istanbul under the patronage of Turkish President HE Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The Summit was held in the presence of more than 3000 participants from 90 countries including heads of states, ministers, business leaders and other high-ranking officials and guests.

In his opening speech, on the ‘Age of Digital Revolution’, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh sounded the alarm of an anticipated world economic crisis, saying that “we are living today in an ‘orderless world that is evident in practices that indicate the existence of a ‘trade war” because of that crisis. Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh also predicted the emergence of an "economic crises” in 2020 along with ‘inflation, stagnation and new military confrontation’, hence, such crises and the trade wars, according to Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, would be a reason for shifting toward a ‘New World Order’.

Mr. Cengiz Özgencil, founder and chairman of International Cooperation Platform (UIP-ICP) and Secretary General of the Bosphorus Summit, announced the inauguration of the Summit, presenting Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh as one of the main Summit pillars, a key speaker, and one of the most prominent and smart businessmen he has ever known.

Moreover, Özgencil revealed that Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh had been setting the previous Summit agendas ; however, he added, this year’s Summit was specifically founded on his rich insights and economic predictions which proved to be correct.
