ADU concludes its annual Winter Camp with the participation of over 500 high-school students
In line with its efforts to extend expertise and knowledge to prospect students, Abu Dhabi University (ADU) completed its Winter Camp (2022-2023) with the participation of over 500 students. ADU's Winter Camp seeks to condition and best prepare high-school students on their next educational jump and provide them with the knowledge and tools required in university.
ADU welcomed grade 11 and 12 students representing 91 public and private schools in Abu Dhabi. Through similar events, ADU seeks to extend its faculty’s knowledge and expertise to prospect students in Abu Dhabi. The Camp hosted educational sessions and activities ranging from media and content production to taking a deep dive into the fields of engineering and business studies. Furthermore, the Camp provided students with the opportunity to attain a deeper insight into their skills and potential career path that live up to their passion through the RAISEC test.
Students were exposed to key pillars of engineering studies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), cybersecurity and more. As part of the Business Camp, participants had the opportunity to learn more about entrepreneurial skills, business plans and marketing.
As one of the region’s leading academic institutions, ADU is also set to host EmSAT tips and tricks sessions, during this week until December 22nd 2022. The sessions will provide guidance and prepardness for students looking to take the Emirates Standarized Test (EmSAT) ahead of their examination.

Abu Dhabi University
The dream began with the Charter of Abu Dhabi University in the year 2000, After three years of planning, the university opened its doors in September 2003, to an entering class of 1,000 students on its two campuses in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Unlike other colleges and universities in the UAE, ADU undertook the measures necessary to ensure that all of the degree programs it would offer had secured accreditation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in advance of any students enrolling in them.
