Al Bateen Executive Airport opens its new world-class crew lounge and facility

Al Bateen Executive Airport, the Middle East’s first dedicated business aviation airport operated by Abu Dhabi Airports Company, announced today the opening of its new crew lounge, part of the DhabiJet FBO brand. The contemporary designed facility is now fully operational and offers flight crew a comprehensive and state-of-the-art flight planning support facility that meets all their needs and requirements when they stop at the executive airport ahead of, after or in between flights.

Within a two floor complex, the new facility combines work areas, to carry out crew briefings and flight planning, with lounge areas, to refresh and relax. The top floor is occupied by Al Bateen’s flight operations department and a briefing room. The ground floor is entirely dedicated to crew, featuring a lounge area with satellite TV, snooze room, work stations, meeting room, shower facility and a prayer room.

Commenting on this completion, Steve Jones, General Manager of Al Bateen Executive Airport said: “The opening of the fully dedicated crew lounge as part of the DhabiJet FBO is a major milestone for Al Bateen Executive Airport. The Airport was eager to have the lounge up and running in time for the Formula 1 which provided a fully integrated suite of support services to visiting crew offering them the ultimate in privacy, convenience and comfort along with a live F1 TV broadcasts.”

DhabiJet is set to bring together all of the requirements for Business Aviation customers visiting Al Bateen under the management and co-ordination of a single highly trained DhabiJet customer service team offering them a range of FBO services such as meet and greet, fueling, cabin cleaning, in flight catering, Limousine and hotel services and many more.

Moreover, in line with its customer-centric approach in offering to all customers high-end products and services, Al Bateen Executive Airport is the only executive airport in the region and one of the few in the world to offer exclusive retail products by world re-known brands. The success of this unique offering has lead to further expanding the range of the luxury brands offered in the coming months.
