Al Bustan Centre & Residence organises tree planting ceremony to show its commitment for environmental protection

Al Bustan Centre and Residence, the Hotel Apartments that offers world class services and facilities in the heart of Dubai, recently organised a tree planting ceremony to create awareness towards environmental responsibility amongst its employees.

Representatives from various departments of Al Bustan Centre & Residence actively participated in the event which is part of the property’s Responsive Awareness Program (RAP) and CSR plans, and focuses on preserving nature that is important for the sustenance of life. The management of the property believes that a healthy planet and community go hand in hand.

Moussa El Hayek, Chief Operating Officer of Al Bustan Centre & Residence said: “Tree plantation not only provides several environmental benefits but offers significant income and livelihood options to people across the globe. Thus following Dubai Government’s environmental protection initiative we are also committed to protecting the environment we live and work in. The purpose of organizing this activity at the property was to educate employees about creating beautiful landscapes for future generations, reducing carbon footprint and preserving natural resources.”

He added the activity not only stressed on planting more trees but protecting the existing ones as well because trees help in restoring degraded environments. The property organizes this ceremony every year to show their small but significant contribution to the cause in today's world given the threats posed by global warming.
