Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, Chairman of the Al Habtoor Group gave his best wishes to the outgoing Hungarian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates His Excellency Zoltán Jancsi. The Chairman bid farewell at a meeting at the Al Habtoor Group head office on Al Wasl Road on Wednesday December 10, 2014.

HE Jancsi, who has been in the UAE for three years, will leave his post - which he took on in September 2013 - at the end of the month. “I have met the Ambassador several times, and wish him all the very best for the future.”

The Al Habtoor Chairman, who is very fond of Hungary, has two large investments there. In 2012 he purchased the historic Le Méridien Budapest, and this year he added the InterContinental Hotel to his international portfolio.

Early this year Emirates Airline launched daily flights to Budapest and opened a customer contact center in the city.

Al Habtoor said, “I encourage more Hungarians to visit the UAE and to invest here. The UAE economy is growing, and there are an abundance of opportunities here for international investors.”
