Al Majid Motors to Bring Kia’s All-New K900 and Refreshed Optima and Carnival to the UAE

All-new K900 luxury flagship sedan set to arrive later this year.

KIA Motors Corp., through its sole UAE distributor Al Majid Motors Co., has announced that it will bring a refreshed line-up of models to the UAE over the coming months, with the popular Optima sedan due to hit showrooms in July, the best-selling Carnival mini-van expected to launch in August, and the all-new K900 luxury flagship sedan set to arrive later this year.

Conceived and created in Kia’s design studio in Korea with collaboration from the Irvine-based California studio, the K900 offers a new standard of luxury with its sophisticated exterior design, beautifully crafted premium cabin, offering the choice of engine of 3.8L GDI or 5.0L GDI V6 engine. The all-new second-generation model also offers a wide array of high-tech safety, connectivity and driver assistance features including Kia’s UVO luxe1, which is dedicated exclusively to K900 owners and provides them with a full suite of convenient remote features.

The new Optima’s stand-out design sets it apart from other sedans in the mid-size segment. With fresh design cues inside and out, the new model includes European-inspired red and black two-tone sport leather-trimmed seats for extra flair. The vehicle’s advanced driver assistance technologies include Forward Collision Warning, Driver Attention Warning and Lane Departure Warning, ensuring the safety of everyone on board. For ultimate hands-free ease, the Optima also features an improved voice recognition system that allows divers to make calls, send and receive messages, and listen to music while remaining focused on the road.

The Carnival delivers the height of convenience with its ample passenger and cargo space. Recent upgrades keep it ahead in the mini-van segment, where it offers greater style and advanced technologies, including a system that helps to detect collision risks, alert the driver and automatically

apply the brakes. With newly designed front and rear fascias, the Carnival now features a rear-seat entertainment system along with other convenience features that keep the model up-to-date and add more refinement. The Carnival’s tried and tested 3.3-litre V6 engine can now be paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission for an enhanced drive.
