Al-Markazia sponsors Disrupt music embracing young talents and creative ideas

Al-Markazia, the sole distributor of Toyota, Lexus and Hino trucks in Jordan, sponsored the Disrupt music event which is being hosted in the Kingdom of Jordan aiming to develop its music sector. Intense workshops were held over a period of three days at Zain Innovation Campus (Zinc) at the King Hussein Business Park, organized by the local musical companies "Feesheh Music", “Balbaleh”, “Indiepush” and in cooperation with Mideast Creatives and sponsored by Al-Markazia.

The event attracted a large number of bands and individuals from musicians, artists, sound engineers, producers, programmers and business professionals who are interested in the music industry, who shared their entrepreneurial and creative thoughts that are music related. The participants received training sessions on how to turn ideas into models and action plans. These were given by local and international trainers in the music industry. A session was devoted to training the participants on how to market their ideas, in which Al-Markazia played a central role. Toyota was chosen as an example and the teams were trained on how to market the car in its various models and how to develop strategic plans and solutions to accomplish this task.

Participants also competed in a contest organized in conjunction with the workshops, where they were asked to develop an action plan for their project and then explain their ideas through a three minute presentation at the end of the third day of the event. The jury, composed of experts in the sector, chose three winners in the first place Saif Nasser, Zaid Kilani, Amer Al Dalleh & Mohammad Al Kukhun, in the second place Ammar Naimy, Ehab Khrisha & Raaed Abu Zaid, in the third place Mohammed Janazra – Palestine in recognition of their presentations and entrepreneurial ideas.

While commenting on the event the Sales and Marketing Director and Deputy General Manager at Al-Markazia Nadim Haddad said: "We are delighted to be part of Disrupt music, and to provide all the support and care to the participating teams and individuals, helping them make their dreams. We are eager on supporting art in all its forms, particularly music. "

The event came to an end with a concert by Bala Feesh which was hosted by Kharabeesh at the King Hussein Business Park, where the winners were announced. Al-Markazia participated through #Toyotalive setting up a karaoke stand which created an atmosphere of joy and entertainment for the young crowd.
