Al Salam Bank Participates in University of Bahrain Career Fair

Al Salam Bank announced its participation in the University of Bahrain Virtual Career Fair in November 2021, organized for graduating students and alumni seeking career opportunities in the labor market. 

The career fair was held with the attendance of several members from Al Salam Bank.  The team gave students a brief background on the history of Al Salam Bank, introduced them to the institution’s business model, as well as shared insight on some of the Bank’s initiatives to support the Kingdom’s community. The attending Bank employees also guided students by expanding on the necessary skills and qualifications to prepare them for success in their future careers.  

Commenting on the occasion, Ms. Muna Al Balooshi, Head of Human Resources and Administration at Al Salam Bank, said: “We are very pleased to be participating in the University of Bahrain’s virtual career fair, this comes as part of our ongoing commitment to support the development of ambitious Bahraini youth. In line with our CSR goals, we continue to deliver on our promise to inspire, guide and prepare the future generation, equipping them with the requisite skills for professional excellence, standing testament to our active participation in the development of our community. We look forward to taking part in the coming annual fairs, remaining steadfast on our vow to contribute to the enhancement of our society by strengthening our future generation.” 

Through their participation, Al Salam Bank team members offered a glimpse into the financial services sector, while also making note of the most sought-after skills required to work in the field. Students were also versed on opportunities for growth and development within Al Salam. Namely the Bank’s annual training programs, designed to arm students with a diverse skillset by immersing them in the many departments of Al Salam Bank, gearing them for future success.

The annual University of Bahrain career fair aims to connect students with a number of organizations from various industries. This year’s fair was held over 3 days, giving students the opportunity to engage with industry leaders from various sectors, ultimately gaining useful advice for the advancement of their future careers. The mutually beneficial event additionally aims to introduce market leaders to potential talent whilst educating and providing opportunity to the future workforce.
