ALHOSN University to share world-class academic platform at Dubai’s GETEX Spring 2012

ALHOSN University, a leading Abu Dhabi-based university dedicated to high-quality, value-based education, will be showcasing its academic programs and community-focused initiatives during GETEX Spring 2012, the latest edition of the Gulf’s largest education fair running from April 19 to 21, 2012 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
An exclusive seminar titled ‘ALHOSN@-a-Glance’ will be conducted by ALHOSN on the first day at 6:30 p.m. The university will present its philosophy of ‘global knowledge with local vision’ and explain how its world-class curricula prepared by North American educators are well-suited for the region’s evolving job markets. Representatives will also touch on ALHOSN’s various advocacies such as increasing female enrollment in technical programs and molding socially-responsible citizens.

GETEX Spring 2012 will occupy 14,000 square meters of prime exhibition space and host over 500 exhibitors offering more than 2,500 study and training options in over 40 countries. It will focus on General, Higher and Vocational Education and Training and Professional Development and feature the Global EdTech Forum, a conference dedicated to learning and educational technology. This year’s edition will be held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Admission is free of charge.
