AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation and Tamkeen conclude ‘Ithra’ youth enrichment programme

AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation (MKF) yesterday concluded activities of the third edition of the “Ithra” youth enrichment programme. The closing ceremony was attended by Chairwoman of MKF’s Board of Trustees Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa and Tamkeen Chief Executive Dr. Ebrahim Mohamed Janahi.

Under the programme, Tamkeen’s “Start Your Business” workshop was organised as part of Tamkeen's Advisory Services, which offers mentoring and coaching to individuals and enterprises as well as career and professional guidance from industry professionals and experts. 

Commenting on the programme’s activities, Shaikha Zain said: “MKF has always prioritised providing support for young Bahrainis who are assets in the effort to advance the Kingdom’s economy in the future. Therefore we are delighted to cooperate with Tamkeen to enhance ‘Ithra’ programme, which contributes to the development of Bahraini youth to become proactive members of society, serving their nation.” 

For his part, Dr. Janahi said: “Tamkeen continuously works to support enterprises and individuals across all stages of development. Youth stage is critical, as individuals start planning their future and working to achieve their goals and professional aspirations. Therefore, we are delighted to cooperate with MKF to give selected Bahraini youths the chance to learn about the elements of success in the labour market and improve their skills and experiences to achieve their potentials.” 

“Ithra” supports youths by developing their skills, preparing them for labour market, and empowering them to their full potential to assume a leading role in the nation’s development. 

“Ithra” programme introduced participants to Tamkeen’s programmes and educated them on leadership skills. It reviewed success stories of youth who benefited from Tamkeen’s programmes and turned their ideas and ambitions into real successful projects. Shaikha Zain also awarded distinguished students and presented trainees with certificates, expressing gratitude for all the organisers of the programme.
