AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation Announces University Seat Sponsorship Opportunities

As part of its efforts to strengthen its community partnership with private sector institutions, AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation has announced that it will cooperate with a number of institutions and individuals to provide students wishing to study in Bahrain and abroad the opportunity to pursue a bachelor's degree as part of Rayaat scholarship program.

 AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation revealed that registration is now open for those who wish to sponsor scholarships for the academic year 2020/2021. Through its cooperation with the private sector, Rayaat program seeks to provide the largest possible number of scholarships in accredited higher education programs and help Bahraini students achieve their educational goals. 

Individuals and corporations involved in sponsoring scholarships will gain media coverage through the foundation’s media channels, and the sponsored university seat will carry the name of the corporation or Individual.

Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, said: "We are pleased to open the door for individuals and corporations in the Kingdom of Bahrain to contribute towards supporting the goals of the Rayaat Scholarship Program. This counts as an opportunity for all entities to support Bahraini youth and the education sector as a whole. We are confident that this invitation will be widely welcomed by individuals and corporations operating in the private sector, hence multiplying the number of opportunities available to the youth in different sectors."

The Rayaat Scholarship Program was launched in 2011; it follows a comprehensive approach to the education and personal development of Bahraini Youth by providing them with scholarships at accredited universities in the Kingdom, in addition to other training opportunities in the public and private sectors, with the aim of developing skills among the students by providing them with necessary workplace ethics. The program also aims to enhance the concept of social responsibility towards the Kingdom and encourage students to participate in volunteer work to serve the local community.
