AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation Holds Its Monthly Meeting

In cooperation with the Consumer Protection Directorate of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Rayaat Scholarship program of AlMabarrah Al Khalifia Foundation (MKF) hosted its monthly meeting for the students at the Bahrain Financial Harbour entitled: The Crime of Pyramid Scheme and Network Marketing under Law No. 35 of 2012 on Consumer Protection on Saturday, April 7th 2018.

The meeting was hosted by Ms. Safa Qassim Safar, Head of the Consumer Awareness at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, who was keen to raise the awareness level in regards to consumer protection among the students and their daily consumption practices and the culture of saving. She also shed light on the importance of avoiding any violations made by business owners, in addition to educating them on Law No. (35) of 2012 on consumer protection and its executive regulations.

“We are pleased to hold the monthly meeting of April 2018, which will enable participating students to learn about the meaning of the Crime of Pyramid Scheme and Network Marketing, how to address these prohibited practices and how to communicate with consumer protection.
