Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort Rolls the Red Carpet for a Royal Affair to Remember
Guests are in for an unforgettable three days as Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort prepares for the season’s most highly anticipated event, Royal Affairs. From the 6th-8th November, the resort’s iconic viewing platform, Diana’s Point, will provide the backdrop for a series of culinary delights created by world-renowned Greek Chef, Nikolaos Koulousias, one of the selected chefs for the wedding of the now Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
During the elaborate event, guests will be offered a selection of menus based on dishes from the Royal Wedding menu with a blend of local flavours. Pomegranate and rosewater will feature in the specially-designed menus, giving guests a taste of Oman with royal flair.
Dagmar Symes, General Manager for Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort said, “All hands are on deck as we gear up to welcome Chef Niko to the Green Mountain. At Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort our aim is to always delight our guests with unique and unforgettable experiences and our Royal Affairs event, combining world-class cuisine and an iconic location, certainly hits the mark.”
With a variety of exclusive packages available throughout the three days, guests can look forward to an evening cocktail reception, in-room signature amenities by Chef Niko himself and an autographed signature menu to take home. Set atop Oman’s picturesque Hajar Mountains, surrounded by natural beauty and authentic luxury, the resort offers the perfect setting for a complete royal indulgence.
Everyday life is filled with opportunities to seek the exceptional, encounter the new and widen our horizons. For our worldly guests, a stay at Anantara is just one more chapter in a lifetime of travel and exploration. And we intend to make it an extraordinary one.
The Anantara experience was born in 2001 with our first luxury property in Thailand’s historic seaside retreat of Hua Hin. From that day forward, we expanded throughout the world to cosmopolitan cities, lush islands, desert sands, heritage destinations, uncharted beaches and contemporary resort destinations. Today’s portfolio spans Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Maldives, Mozambique, Oman, Portugal, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Vietnam and Zambia.
