Founded in 2001 by Egyptian producer Tamer Mortada, Aroma is a leading post-production house and design solutions, provider. It offers a wide variety of services including films, advertisements, music videos, and television programs. Additionally, it designs audio-visual identities for TV channels, for which it awarded over 15 international awards. With the growth of its business, Aroma has opened new branches in Dubai Studio City, Dubai; twofour54, Abu Dhabi and Riyadh, KSA. Currently, the company includes over 300 employees, including over 200 artists working in different fields.
Since its establishment in 2014, Aroma Studios has specialized in TV production. After the success of its Ramadan TV series, Al-Sayyad (The Hunter), the company presented TV series: Le’bet Ebles (The Devil Game) and Zarf Aswad (The Black Envelope), in 2015; El Khoroug (The Exit), in 2016; Ekhtyar Egbari (Mandatory Choice), in 2017 and Amr Wake'a (Matter of Fact), in 2018. In 2021, it produced its most recent TV series; Iila Ana and Tah’ee’ (Investigation).
Furthermore, Aroma offered graphics and post-production services to some of the most popular regional and international works. These works include two of Netflix’s original works; Egyptian series Ma Waraa’ Al Tabee’a (Paranormal Activity) in 2020 and American series Cypher (2021), in addition to Shahid.net’s original series Fi Kol Osbu’ Yowm Goma’a (Every Week Has A Friday) and blockbusters: El Feel El Azraq (Blue Elephant) in 2014, Turab el Mass (Diamond Dust) in 2018, Lees Baghdad (The Thief of Baghdad) in 2020, and Mousa (2021). Also, Aroma has provided services to El Aref (The Knower), which topped the Egyptian box office in 2021.
