Aspiring Weather Enthusiasts Complete First Meteorology Internship at Arabia Weather

In alignment with its efforts to enrich local communities and aid in their growth and development, ArabiaWeather Inc – the leading provider of weather products, services and solutions to consumers and businesses in the Middle East – concluded its first internship course aimed at weather enthusiasts. The course, which ran from 23 July to 23 August, 2017 at ArabiaWeather’s main headquarters, is the result of the Company’s vision to create communities of indviduals specialized in meteorology and related fields in Jordan and the MENA region.

The internship program aims to graduate a cadre of weather enthusiasts equipped with the meteorological skills and knowledge that will allow them to apply meteorological principles accurately, using the most advanced, science-based technologies available. ArabiaWeather’s efforts will go a long way in creating communities that are passionate about meteorology and its impact, especially in a region such as the Middle East, known for the diversity of weather conditions that can occur in different areas simultaneously.

This year’s graduates expressed their enthusiasm and need for such a program. Intern Ghaleb Abu Baker, a tenth-grade student at Al Hussein College, stated that his time with ArabiaWeather has allowed him to advance and refine his knowledge and experience on both a professional and personal level. Ghaleb also pointed out his astonishment at the level of technological advancements at ArabiaWeather which play a major role in supporting the Company’s meteorological activities. He also expressed his gratitude for having been provided this opportunity to gain invaluable knowledge and experience in meteorology. In addition, intern Yousef Al Anbari, a weather enthusiast from Iraq, pointed out that the skills and knowledge he gained during his time at ArabiaWeather will now allow him to more accurately forecast upcoming weather events.
