Bahrain Airport Company marks Eid Al Fitir

In line with Eid Al Fitir celebrations, Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) organized a reception event at the company’s headquarter and Bahrain International Airport (BIA) to mark the festive occasion.  Activities included staff gathering at the company where they enjoyed a selection of light snacks and beverages, while travelers enjoyed Arabic coffee and traditional delights at the airport. 

This event comes in line with the company’s continuous efforts to improve team-work spirit and strengthen social ties among staff at BAC headquarter and Bahrain International Airport (BIA).  BAC pays great attention to its’ human capital, whether by developing an integrated human resources strategy or by launching a set of initiatives to improve the work environment.  As a result, the airport won various internationally-renowned awards, most recently the SKYTRAX Award in 2013 for the Middle East’s Best Airport Staff.  It has also received different nominations which ranked BIA in the SKYTRAX world’s top 100 airports.  

Note to mention, BAC is the authority responsible for enhancing BIA and increasing the airport’s contribution to the local economy in line with Vision 2030.  In its’ operational role, BAC is responsible for elevating the airport’s operations, infrastructure and services.  This is set to improve BIA capabilities; and to cater for the growing number of passengers as well as the changing demands of stakeholders.
