Bahrain City Centre donatesBD5,700 for Think Pink Bahrain
In support of International Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual and globally celebrated campaign, Bahrain City Centre has donated BD 5,700 to Think Pink Bahrain, a local orgaisation dedicated to awarness and research of the widespread disease. During the month of October, Bahrain City Centre hosted ‘Fall for Fashion’ – a three-week fashion campaign underscored with a charitable cause. Funds raised were facilitied through various events which included a 3km ‘Kick Up Your Heels’ Walkathon, a Silent Auction and Pink Ribbon sales in-mall.
The ‘Kick up your heels’ Walkathon attracted over 270 energetic walkers – including residents, mall management, City Walkers and Fitness First instructors – who walked 3km of the mall, raising a grand total of BD3,800 in pledges. An additional BD1,900 was also raised thanks to the success of the mall’s Pink Ribbon sales and Silent Action hosted at the wrap-up, VIP Fall for Fashion event.
