Bank Nizwa honors educators and outstanding students in Wilayat Seeb
Bank Nizwa joined the Parents’ Council in Wilayat Seeb and the Muscat Governorate branch of the Directorate General of Education to sponsor a ceremony recognizing outstanding educators and students. Organized under the patronage of HE Dr. Fuad bin Jaafar Al Sajwani, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, the event was held at the Gulf College and honored a host of outstanding teachers and the semester’s 10 highest scoring pupils from a total of 61 schools in the Wilayat.
Dr. Ashraf Alnabhani, General Manager Corporate Support at Bank Nizwa, said, “Teachers are without a doubt the most important professionals in the world given the exceptional impact they have on a child and society’s overall development. Educators possess the power to shape our youth and it is integral that we honor them for the role they play in empowering future generations to lead successful lives.”

The formation of Bank Nizwa came about with the Central Bank of Oman granting its initial approval to the licensing of the Bank to Sheikh Saud bin Ali Al Khalili. Sheikh Saud and a further 92 other Omani individuals, companies and pension funds constitute the founder shareholders of the Bank.
Bank Nizwa is Oman’s first dedicated Islamic bank, with fully Shari’a compliant products and services.
