Canadian Specialist Hospital Embarks on a Drive to Support Flood Ravaged Kerala

Canadian Specialist Hospital has embarked on a drive to support the flood affected Indian state of Kerala. The hospital is sending clothes for women, men, kids dresses, medicines, disinfectants, paper plates, cups, blankets, mats, first aid kits, instant noodles, dry food items, baby food items, biscuits without cream milk powder among other such items.
The hospital is running the collection starting today, Saturday, 18 August and till Friday, 24 August and will extend it based on the things that are collected. Those interested in donating, are requested to get in touch with the following hospital team members who have volunteered to be present during the Eid vacation.

Dr. Yashar Ali, CEO, CSH commented, “The natural calamity that has befallen on Kerala has dislodged the lives of many Keralites. We have a strong representation of Malayali staff in our hospital and they have suffered devastating losses during the past week and a half. This donation drive is our way of providing some relief to those affected in hopes that they survive this period of tribulation and restore a semblance of normalcy to their lives after the catastrophe,”
“We have designated a special area for the collection. Our staff have volunteered to stay during Eid days when we have vacation, and collect, pack and send. Depending on the quantities collected, it will be sent daily or every few days. We urge the people of Dubai to come and help people in Kerala in their time of need,” concluded Dr. Yashar.
