The luxury Italian shoe brand Casadei’s Spring Summer 2012 Fontana Collection is a pure concentrate of elan and emphasises florescent colours like yellow, orange, neon pink and silver. The shoes have three-dimensional structures and are designed to make feet look bright and glamorous.

Cesare Casadei, Creative Director of the brand said: “For me art and design are an on-going source of inspiration. The Fontana wedge, distinctive element of the Spring/ Summer 2012 collection, conveys a sense of geometric three dimensionality with its deep polished wood and steel frames. The Fontana wedge’s hollow structure, made of cork and wood and covered with a shiny foil, creates a sense of perspective; a concept highlighted in the negative space by the contrasting colours including neon yellow, orange and pink or silver. The collection includes styles featuring calf leather, natural or backed with neon colours, to create contrast straps and transparent PVC straps with neon piping.

Combining innovative research of design and form, the CASADEI FONTANA COLLECTION emphasizes the unique skills that distinguish the luxury Italian shoe brand.

The Casadei label was founded in 1958 by Quinto and Flora Casadei. Quinto Casadei—still at the helm of the footwear and leather facilities of S. Mauro Pascoli in the province of Forli—proved strong and true when he decided to expand his small crafts laboratory, in which he had already started to produce dream footwear of sophisticated workmanship.
